By: Liz Hall

While restaurants continue to offer takeout options, chances are, you’re finding yourself making the majority of your meals these days. If you’re anything like me, you’re also wondering: what can I make with what I have in my kitchen? Well, while you’re stuck at home you can take a virtual cooking class and learn from the masters!

Cooking Class with Jamie Oliver

Chef Jamie Oliver shows how to make pasta from scratch as his young son helps out in the kitchen. His son has a blast with him, because, as he says, he can make pasta into all sorts of shapes. Oliver also has loads of free video tutorials on his YouTube page, and many of them feature simple ingredients and methods.

Take a Cooking Class With Michael Symon

Cook with Actor & Chef Antoni Porowski

Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski is sharing quick and easy meals that you can make with basic ingredients and leftovers. He’s injecting some of his fabulous humor into his creative lessons too. You can see more than 10 cooking class videos on his IGTV

Tyler Florence Cooking Class

Chef Tyler Florence recently launched a new YouTube channel, Wolf It Down. While there aren’t too many videos up (yet), you can get a fabulous cooking class in how to make chicken paella.

Cooking with Chef Gordon Ramsey

If you want some entertainment while you get some cooking inspiration, check out this YouTube cooking demonstration for a southwestern omelet. The video features Chef Gordon Ramsay along with guest Steve-O. For more serious lessons, check out MasterClass; the paid courses are led by Ramsay as well as an array of other legendary chefs, including Chef Thomas Keller. You’ll not only learn some new recipes but a whole lot about cooking technique too.

This is just a sample of the many virtual cooking class options available, both paid and free options. Chefs all over the world are teaching people stuck at home how to cook through YouTube, Instagram Live, and other social media sites. And when we’re all able to leave our houses? You can continue to brush up your cooking skills while traveling with places like The International Kitchen
