An outdoor summer gathering or camping trip isn’t complete without gathering around the grill or fire to roast marshmallows and make s’mores.
Perfectly charred marshmallows with the outer layer crumbling to reveal the gooey inside, combined with melted chocolate and crunchy graham crackers, it’s easy to see why s’mores are a popular summer dessert.
How to Make S’mores In An Air Fryer
Have you ever had a s’mores craving when you didn’t have time to pull out the grill or fire up the fire pit?
Microwave s’mores are yummy, but I love the crispiness of roasted marshmallows, and you don’t get that from the microwavable version.
The air fryer roasts marshmallows to perfection, and it’s so quick and easy.
You will be enjoying a plate of delicious s’more’s in less than 10 minutes!
This Air Fryer S’mores Recipe:
- Yield: 4
- Prep Time: 2 minutes
- Cook Time: 5-7 minutes
Ingredients – Air Fryer S’mores
- 4 graham crackers
- 4 marshmallows
- 2 chocolate bars
Instructions – Air Fryer S’mores
Step 1
Preheat Air Fryer to 390 degrees F.
Step 2
Place graham cracker halves into basket.
Step 3
Cut marshmallow in half and place on top of graham cracker with the sticky side down.
Step 4
Cook for 5-7 minutes.
Step 5
Remove basket and place a piece of chocolate bar on top the marshmallow.
Step 6
Continue cooking for 30 seconds, or close the basket and let the remaining heat melt the chocolate.
Step 7
Add another piece of graham cracker on top.
Step 8
Eat immediately.
Gluten Free S’mores Recipe (With Dairy Free/ Vegan S’mores Option)
Having food allergies and sensitivities sometimes means missing out on fun treats, but the good news is that it’s super easy to make gluten free s’mores!
Instead of regular graham crackers, buy gluten free graham crackers and gluten free marshmallows. One of my favorite marshmallow brands is Dandees vegan marshmallows. They taste just like regular marshmallows and they are gluten free and vegan which is nice if you are looking or a vegan or dairy0-free s’mores recipe!
Replace the Hershey’s bars with Enjoy Life brand chocolate bars for a gluten free and dairy free option.
If you are roasting marshmallows and making s’mores along with people who are using traditional ingredients, be careful so that you can prevent cross-contamination.
