How To Make Instant Pot BBQ Chicken
Whether I serve it in sandwiches, over salad, or on a plate with grilled veggies, this Instant Pot BBQ chicken recipe is always a win with my family!

This Instant Pot BBQ Chicken:
- Serves: 6-8
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 8 minutes plus release time
Ingredients – Instant Pot BBQ Chicken
- 4 (2 pounds) boneless skinless chicken breasts, or thighs
- ¾ cup ketchup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions – Instant Pot BBQ Chicken
Step 1
In a medium bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar to make BBQ sauce.
Step 2
Add Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings, whisk until well combined.
Step 3
Pour into Instant Pot and add chicken broth.
Step 4
Add chicken and turn to coat.
Step 5
Lock lid in place and cook for 8 minutes on HIGH pressure.
Step 6
Let the pressure naturally release.
Step 7
Remove lid and remove chicken to cutting board.
Step 8
Shred for sandwiches or salads.
Step 9
Store leftover in refrigerator.
