Bird Craft For Kids
My favorite thing about spring is watching birds flit about, nesting, feeding, and singing. I especially love bluebirds, and they are exactly what inspired this easy cardboard roll craft!
Not to mention, the blue bird is kind of an iconic bird when it comes to spring!

How To Make This Cardboard Bird Craft:
- After gathering supplies, invite kids to paint a red belly on their cardboard tube.
- Next, cut out wings for their bird from the blue paper.
- Then cut a beak from the yellow paper.
- Last, glue the beak and wings to the cardboard tube.
- Then press wiggly eyes above the beak.

Notes:
As much as I love blue birds, you could turn this into any color bird you wanted. Use different shades of reds for cardinals or you can use yellow and black for American Goldfinches. Make it your own!
