Target’s Car Seat Trade-In Event Is Back. Here’s Everything You Need To Know.

The Target Car Seat Trade-In Event 2021 is here!

I wait for this day every year! I have 3 kids so trading in and trading up car seats is the BOMB.com!

Well, I actually almost missed this year’s car seat trade-in event since I’ve been stuck at home and all. But the other day I noticed Target’s trade-in event is happening RIGHT NOW!

Now through April 17, 2021, you can bring in any used car seat to Target and receive a 20% off coupon that can be redeemed on a new car seat, stroller or select baby gear.

Here’s how you trade-in your car seat:

1. Bring an old car seat or base to a nearby Target and drop it in the designated box inside the store.
2. Open your Target App to scan the code on the box. Talk to a Team Member in Guest Services if you need help.
3. Open your Wallet in the Target App and view “Extra offers” to find your coupon + more contactless savings.
4. Click the green checkmark next to the offer and place your order online, or scan your barcode at the register.

This event is always a great way to recycle your old, used car seat and get a new one or even a new baby item at a discount.
