Red bell pepper contains folate and is a good source of Vitamin A (from Beta carotene), Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C. They are mildly sweet in taste and less bitter than the green bell peppers. They make a good addition to a baby’s diet after 7 months of age. Steamed red bell pepper combined with steamed potato makes it healthier and richer in taste.
