Well parents, the time has come… Caillou Is Officially Ending After 20 Years On Air!!

Surprisingly, many parents are rejoicing over the cancellation.

PBS cancels Caillou after 20 years. 2021 is already a win.

Now, I’ve never seen it nor have my kids but after looking at the reasons why parents didn’t like this show, I am sort of glad my kids were never into this!

Nonetheless, PBS has made the announcement that Caillou is no more!

“We’re saying farewell to @cailloudhx, but remember, when we say goodbye to something…” Tuesday’s tweet read. “… It just means we get to say hello to something new!”

Now, let’s just hope this something new doesn’t mean it’s where Caillou is grown up or something… Let’s just put that show to rest.

Now, if your kids really did enjoy it, PBS Kids shared helpful tips for parents whose children may be disappointed that the show is ending, recommending that parents “listen and empathize, look for the good in the situation and empower their future media choices.”

So, there you have it, Caillou is ending. Let’s hope we don’t have too many sad kiddos!
