They are also great for playgroup crafts or even  a fun holiday table activity to keep the kids occupied before or after dinner. Not only that, they’re cute and rather tasty too!

Marshmallow Snowman

Marshmallow snowman craft is super cute with 2 large marshmallows for its body, chocolate chips for the buttons and eyes, pretzels for arms, and candy corn for a nose.

These snowman marshmallows look delicious!

This could also be a fun treat to make to go alongside the Frosty The Snowman song as well!

Or it could pair well with a number of great Snowmen stories like:

  • The Snowman’s Song By Marilee Joy Mayfield
  • Snowman at Christmas By Caralyn Buehner
  • The Biggest Snowman Ever By Steven Kroll

Supplies You Need to Make a Marshmallow Snowman

Snowman kit marshmallows, graham crackers, frosting, popsicle sticks, chocolate chips, and candy corn, and tooth picks on a blue plate.

All the ingredients for this edible snowman on a plate.

The supplies are fairly minimal and cheap which makes this edible snowman a great craft for large groups! After all, who doesn’t want to eat a marshmallow snowman with pretzel arms! Salty and sweet, the perfect combination.

Materials:
  • 2-3 large marshmallows
  • 1 graham cracker
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Candy corn
  • Icing as “glue”
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Craft sticks, toothpicks, and paper plates for easy clean up

How To Make A Marshmallow Snowman

Build your own snowman marshmallow by using frosting to stick the marshmallows to the graham crackers then more frosting, then another marshmallow on top of the first marshmallow, then add the chocolate chip eyes and jam the candy corn in the marshmallows face for a nose and then jam the pretzels in to give the marshmallow snowman arms.

These marshmallow snowman are so easy to make!

  1. Using your craft stick to spread icing, glue one marshmallow on top of the graham cracker and the second marshmallow on top of the first.
  2. Carefully use a toothpick to pierce the marshmallow and insert a candy corn nose.
  3. Using the toothpick again, pierce the marshmallow for eyes and insert the pointy end of the mini chocolate chips into the marshmallow, push into place.
  4. Repeat this step for buttons on the bottom marshmallow
  5. Break a pretzel stick in half and poke a half-pretzel  into the sides for arms.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
  7. Optional: add a vanilla wafer and mini peanut butter cup for a hat or trim fruit leather/fruit roll to be a scarf.
