Just in time for the cold weather, Pillsbury Hot Cocoa Cinnamon Rolls are back in stores!
And in my house, it’s just in time as I used out my very last one I stocked up on in the spring a few weeks ago. Out of all the flavored cinnamon roll options, these just might be my favorite.
It might be because, instead of a traditional cinnamon roll dough, these ones come with a hot cocoa flavored dough. It might be because the filling has a cocoa flavor too. Or it might be because the icing is actually a marshmallow icing.
Essentially, it’s hot cocoa in a roll form, so it’s hard to pick the best part.
Like regular Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls, the Hot Cocoa Cinnamon Rolls bake at 350 degrees, for about 25-30 minutes.
Since my oven cooks slightly hot, I opt for 25 minutes and then check to get the right color on my rolls.
Once the Hot Cocoa Rolls are out of the oven, all you’ll need to do is spread the marshmallow filling on top. Just make a cup of coffee, or maybe hot cocoa, to enjoy right along with your rolls! Maybe you’ll even need a Hot Cocoa Bomb to make the perfect drink to go along with it.
The Pillsbury Hot Cocoa Cinnamon Rolls can be found in the refrigerated section at your grocery store, with the other Pillsbury products. We’ve found them at our local Walmart and Kroger-family store. They are typically priced between $3 and $4 without sales.
Since they are a limited seasonal item, you’ll want to grab one or a half dozen now so you’ll have them on hand later in the season. And, while you’re shopping, you might need to try the Pillsbury Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls too.
