I beg my kids to clean out their stuff. I plead with them to bring the dirty glasses to the kitchen, give away the clothes they have not worn since middle school and stop eating out of the containers in their bedroom. I am talking to myself. When I enter their room with a white trash bag in hand, they don’t even remove their headphones.

Ceara OSullivan is our hero. She is every mom, walking into the bedroom of every teen or college student and pleading with them to stop eating peanut butter in bed. Or counting the drinking glasses; the ones that literally disappear the second our kids walk in the door. That’s my personal pet peeve but clearly I’m not alone.

From moms opening salvo of “Good morning sleepy head” to the let’s just got through some things “real quick” to “If we do it now it will take two seconds” we can completely relate.
