LEGOs aren’t just for kids now, and I think I know what I’m going to want for Christmas now!
LEGO has officially introduced a Baby Yoda LEGO Set and I am going to need one of my very own!
Just in time for the holidays, you’ll be able purchase a 1073-piece LEGO set of The Mandalorian’s The Child. The LEGO set will build a nearly 8 inch tall replica of Baby Yoda to make you smile every time you look at it.
The LEGO version will feature a posable head, ears and mouth for different expressions, so little Yoda can set the mood of your rooms. He even comes with his favorite toy, a gearshift knob, just like he plays with in the tv series. (A bowl for frogs is not included, but you may want to add one for the whole experience.)
According to Michael Lee Stockwell, Design Manager, LEGO® Star Wars™:
“The goal was to capture the charm, and above all, the cuteness of the character, so we worked meticulously, choosing and placing each and every brick. We even included authentic details like the gearstick knob – a favourite toy of the Child as seen in the series.”
Disney kept the Baby Yoda character a secret until he finally showed up on the Mandalorian. Because of this, there were very few options available to have The Child merchandise for the holidays last year. But this year? It’s going to be a very merry Baby Yoda Christmas!
Right now, you can preorder your LEGO Baby Yoda Set online, with shipping promised for October 30. It will arrive sometime in November, with plenty of time to spare for Christmas, assuming you can hold out that long for him. The Baby Yoda LEGO set retails for $79.99 and can be preordered on LEGO.com.
