One of my favorite parts of camping with kids is trying new recipes over the campfire! We’ve tried a bunch of different campfire recipes, including delicious campfire brownies! Every time we go camping, it’s a new adventure with the cooking and outdoor activities!

Of course, when you go camping, everyone’s favorite campfire desserts is making s’mores over the fire. But, why not make this delicious S’mores Bars version at home?  This super simple 5 ingredient dessert bar recipe brings the campfire into your home, without the mess!

How to Make Five Ingredient S’mores Bars

Ingredients You Need:

Instructions:

Multiple bowls with the 5 ingredients, (mini marshmallows, golden grahams, chocolate chips, butter, peanut butter), for easy s'mores dessert bars

The first step in making the easy s’mores dessert bars, melting the butter, marshmallows and peanut butter together.

  • Mix the Golden Graham cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture until it’s well combined.
  • Stir in the remainder of the marshmallows and chocolate chips.

  • Spread the mixture into the 9×13 pan.

How to Make Five Ingredient S’mores Bars Gluten Free and Dairy Free

If you have gluten and dairy intolerances or allergies you can still enjoy these five ingredient s’mores bars! You just have to swap out a few ingredients with substitutes:

Ingredients

  • 16.7 oz. Box of Golden Graham Cereal
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 2 TBSP Peanut Butter
  • Bag of Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

    1. Start by spraying a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick baking spray.
    2. Next, melt the marshmallows (except 1/2 cup), peanut butter, and the butter together in a microwave-safe bowl.
    3. Mix the Golden Graham cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture until it's well combined.
    4. Stir in the remainder of the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
    5. Spread the mixture into the 9x13 pan.
    6. Let it set up before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
