It’s so easy to set up a homemade ice cream bar! All you need is ice cream, sprinkles, different flavored syrups, whipped cream, and some cones!

How to Make Homemade Ice Cream

Instructions:

  • First, place loaf pan or container in freezer at least 30 minutes before you begin.
  • Then, please your bowl and whisk in freezer at least 30 minutes before you begin.
  • Be sure whipping cream and condensed milk are very cold.

The hardest part of working with whipped cream is not eating it all before you have finished making the recipe!

  • Next, in a large bowl or stand mixer bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form.

Make sure you are gently folding this in–you don’t want to overmix!

  • Gradually add milk mixture to whipping cream by GENTLY folding into whipped cream.

Adding the food coloring is my daughter’s favorite step!

  • Divide mixture into 2 separate bowls (it will be about 3 cups each).

You can tweak the shade of the colors by adding more or less food coloring until you reach the shade you like!

  • Color one bowl of mixture with pink and one with blue.

Notes:
This homemade ice cream is very soft and melts quicker than store bought ice cream.
Cotton Candy Flavoring can be found in the baking section at most craft stores, or in the candy making area. You can also add sprinkles if you like.
