Easter Egg Fitness Hunt

By: Natalie Monson

As promised, here is an active Easter activity you can plan for your kids!  This will get them moving, and have fun at the same time. Simple as this:

  1. Write clues on pieces of paper.
  2. Place clues inside plastic eggs.
  3. Place eggs in their specific location to be found by excited children.
  4. Children must do the exercise and then move onto the next location.

Here are my clues! Feel free to add your own, or make them better!

Egg #1

Do 10 pushups, can you do more?

Look for the next clue, on the front door.

Egg #2

Jump in place for 1 minute, not just a smidge.

If you aren’t too tired, look in the fridge.

Egg #3

Do a crab walk across the entire room and back

Then run to the place with the bean bag sack

Egg #4

Jumping Jacks at least 20 you’ll do

After you will find the next clue with the shoes

Egg #5

Do a crazy dance for 3o seconds, but you are not done

The kitchen table is the next place we will have so much fun.

Egg #6

Doing a 1 minute plank will make you a star,

Then take your hunt to the family car!

Egg #7

15 Squats will make your legs stronger than steel

Then go to where you would throw a banana peel

Egg #8

It’s time for 5 burpees, are you getting tired?

Head to the place your TV is wired

Egg #9

Doing 10 sit-ups will make you so strong

So will doing dishes, am I wrong? (Next clue is here)

Egg #10

At last your fitness treasure hunt is coming to an end

But first let’s make sure you can stretch and bend

With your hands high in the air, now touch your toes

You’ll find your treasure where your mom powders her noes

Treasure

Congrats you made it! You are definitely fit!

Now make sure to keep moving to take care of your body – every bit!
