Get ready for Meatless Monday, and any other day of the week you want because Costco is bringing Beyond Burgers to select stores in Texas, Florida, and New York very soon, and it’s going to be an 8-pack of these vegetarian-friendly items.
Beyond Burgers currently sell for approximately $5.99 per two-pack in grocery stores, but this brand new 8-pack is retailing at $14.99, less than $2 per burger. The larger size will only be available at Costco, matching the other bulk items everyone knows and loves.
The consumer demand for plant-based meat alternatives has been growing and Costco is ready to get in on the action. Experts suggest that these meat substitutes could reach over $140 billion in sales over the next ten years and Beyond Meat has a plan for it with their latest Costco offering. With some luck, the Beyond Burgers will expand outside the initial select stores.
Have you tried Beyond Meat yet? In case you didn’t know, Burger King is offering Beyond Meat Burgers and KFC is bringing Plant-Based Chicken to their menu.
