In case you didn’t know, the Disney D23 Expo was this weekend and all sorts of Disney filled news has been released. As of recent, Disneyland Just Announced A New Spider-Man Ride You Can Sling Webs On Is Coming and My Spidey Senses Are Tingling!

The announcement of the new ride came today during a D23 Expo Panel where Disney announced plans for a new Avengers Campus complete with sections for each of the Avengers characters.

“In some ways, these new campuses are like the Avengers themselves: a group of diverse individuals who have teamed up for the same purpose,” said Scot Drake, Creative Executive, Marvel Global Portfolio, Walt Disney Imagineering.” (Source)
Among those sections is a new Spider-Man experience known as the “WEB” – because duh, what else would you call it? The best part is, you get to sling webs like Spider-Man does!!!

The WEB will be the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature this iconic Super Hero.
During an open house at WEB, the aspiring inventors are excited to invite you for a test drive of their latest invention: the “Web Slinger” vehicle, which allows you to sling webs just like Spider-Man! The attraction gives you a taste of what it’s like to have actual super powers as you help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok.”

The images above are concept art for the new ride and it is currently set to open during the park’s launch in 2020.
