Rapper Lil Nas X Surprises School Kids and It’s the Sweetest Thing We’ve Ever Seen

This week Lil Nas X country-rapper, singer, and songwriter surprised a bunch of kids at Lander Elementary in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, with a performance of his hit song “Old Town Road.” 

This is how it all went down. Last week, the school’s principal Felecia Evans tweeted a video of her students dancing and singing along to X’s popular song.

Lis Nas X saw the tweet and to everyone’s shock and delight he immediately tweeted back, “when they want a free show” and then he came to their school vowing to,”…do the biggest show of my life…”

The kids went absolutely wild when Lil Nas X came out onto the stage to perform for them. They were floored and amazed as Lil Nas X told them that he just had to come.

It’s great to see a famous rapper setting such a fabulous, joyous example for our kids and it literally melted our hearts.
