Make A Bunco Party Box {With Free Printables}

When I think about times that I have laughed so much that I peed a little, they usually occurred while playing bunco!  1 in 3 women experience light bladder leakage (LBL). 

My guess would be that it is even higher in the mom population!

How to Host a Bunco Party 

Our group consists of 12 participants and a list of subs…just in case.  If you are a regular, you are responsible for finding a sub.

We take turns hosting the party which starts at 6:30 with a light dinner and BYOB drinks.  Everyone puts $5 into the prize pool.

There are three tables of 4 players.  The tables are labeled as table 1, table 2 or table 3.  A bell is positioned at table 1.

On each table is a placemat (for making dice rolling easier), three dice and a pencil at each chair.

The challenge for most of us when hosting is how to configure 3 tables and a total of 12 chairs for the game.  What I see most commonly is that the dining table is used and then two temporary card tables.  Some homes still have formal dining rooms which allows for the kitchen table to be used as well and only one card table.

I have some extra folding chairs in the garage and am totally willing to BMOC (bring my own chair) too!

Set Up a Special Bunco Night Surprise

Since I am sure I am not the only one among 12 women who experience laughter LBL (the statistics would say I am one of 4 at the party), I thought it would be great fun to set up a “Take One – You may need it {giggle}” Sign with a basket of Poise Ultra-Thin Pads.

Make a Bunco Box

To make it easier for the host, create a traveling bunco box!  All the essentials for hosting bunco can safely be stored between parties and make it easier to transport between houses.

You will need:

• Box with top
• 3 sets of 3 dice
• Bell
• 12 pens or pencils
• 3 Table label tents
• 12 Personal score cards
• 3 Table score tally sheets
• Small basket

• The “You may need this” sign to help players stay amazing
• (optional) Food labels
• (optional) Goodie bag toppers

We like to have extra score and tally sheets printed ahead of time.  You can find all these resources below with the amount you will need for each game.

To go along with the “Take One” card, you can use a small container like a basket or gift tin and fill with Poise Ultra-Thin Pads.  The ones I chose were moderate (level 4) absorption, but be assured that whichever absorption level you choose they will be effective and discreet!
