Valentine Tic-Tac-Toe

Since creating this game, my children have played it many times. We leave it out on the coffee table so they can play anytime. Using paper straws, string, and game pieces punched with a paper punch, this game is simple, convenient, and easily adapted for various seasons and holidays.

Position 2 straws so they create a right angle, then begin wrapping the yarn around them. When the straws are secure, tie off the yarn and cut the excess with scissors.

Repeat, adding 1 straw at a time until all 4 straws are tied together. Cut off the excess yarn.

Invite kids to play tic-tac-toe!

This game is great for kids who have finished school work and need to wait quietly for the next activity, or as a fun game for kids to play at home, or as a boredom busting travel activity.

Best of all, it takes up very little space and is easily recycled when the season is over.
